I love mass transit. too. I got rid of my car 20+ years ago ( and am still working without one ) My toughest use problem was in Oakland/Hayward CA because I lived in a poorer neighborhood where they sent the smallest bus they had, ONCE an hour, to pick up many workers and school kids, in the morning while we watched HUGE buses, most almost empty, moving through wealthier neighborhoods and coming more often. GET IT RIGHT transit folks! You know where the needs are. The BART trains to San Francisco were empty where those from Oakland were packed with workers, bikes and had LESS numbers of cars on the lines than the numbers we came in on. DO THE MATH!
I still love mass transit and even more - LOVE not having a car to pay for, insure, and worry about repairing! I am free o' that! Boost for a better transit system for all and Free yourself.
